let's just get right to it

- work was blissfully slow today and I think I'm in danger of getting caught up tomorrow. which will be made of win as I categorically REFUSE to go into work over the three day weekend.

- B was ridiculously cute today. At one point he brought me paperwork by "flying" it into my office and making airplane noises. I almost died. (sadly, no declarations of love. but I think I'll live.)

- my vampire cupcakes have turned out fantastic. instead of the cherry pie filling, I used slightly sweetened raspberries. I think it worked really well. the slight tartness of the raspberries made a nice contrast to the richness of the cupcake itself and the sweetness of the frosting (which is AMAZING.) this is the first batch of cupcakes that I have made entirely from scratch. am so proud. :D

- so who is my valentine today? honestly? I just really wish it were B. all the celebs I've posted over the past two weeks are awesome and pretty and shiny and everything but B is real. and I know that sounds so silly but it's been a long time since I've truly like someone who was real. he's sweet and kind and wonderful, and if I had a picture I would post it here. (of course then I would also be locking this down tight because the interwebs are scary sometimes.) besides B? ALL OF YOU. Seriously y'all. I love you more than pie. I LOVE YOU MORE THAN CUPCAKES. ♥
