May. 18th, 2008 09:37 pm- the deboxing of my house continues. maybe (MAYBE) I will have it done by next weekend and can actually take pictures of oh so cute house. \o/
- yesterday's 'battle of the bands' was um. well. technically speaking the best band was the country/western band and since that is so not my scene. um. yeah. the one band that I was interested in seeing, Defy Tomorrow was. not as good live as I was hoping. the local radio station has been playing the track "Words Don't Mean A Thing" and it's a fun scream along in the car song. they're going to be out on the Van's Warped Tour so maybe I was just sitting in the wrong spot to truly tell how they were live. (seriously the sound SUCKED, and I'm thinking whoever was working the board was a complete idiot.) so if anyone sees them, let me know how they sounded.
- mom came over today and she bought me a vacuum! it's kinda sad how happy that makes me, but a vacuum! <3
- so. I kinda desperately want this guitar. so CUTE. and so tiny. perfect for my tiny tiny hands. alas, I have no money for it right now. I did find a couple of online dealers that carry it though and it's only about $70.00. sadly, I don't really have any extra money right now. but oh how I waaaaant.
