close your eyes and sacrifice

- it's been a rough day. co-worker D is having a hard time (understandable!) adjusting back to work. mostly she just cries. and when I spend time with her I cry too and it's just. tiring.

- different co-worker D's sister just went into the hospital. they fear kidney failure. what the fuck is going on with people I love lately?

- I have my follow up doctor's appt next tuesday. I can't lie, I'm pretty scared. I mean, she didn't demand to see me immediately so it can't be all bad right?

- Relay is this Friday and as much as I'm looking forward to it, I'm also ready for it to be over. next year I'm getting someone to help me organize the team. this is all just. overwhelming. oh and if anyone has anyone's name that they want to honor, survivors or those who have succumbed to the disease, please let me know. I'm going to be making the luminarias for our team and I don't actually have enough people to honor, which I suppose is really a blessing. I'll take pictures of the event so you can see how they turn out.
