words can never make me stay
Nov. 6th, 2008 11:21 pm- I'm too tired to review SPN other than to say AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ... ow. which is pretty accurate representation of my reactions. :)
- so my mom called me the other day to let me know that her boss decided that I couldn't sleep on my parents couch for the week and a half, so I have a TOTALLY FREE hotel room here for my entire stay. even the "crappy" rooms are about a two minute walk from the beach. dude. WHO WANTS TO VISIT ME IN CALIFORNIA FOR THE XMAS HOLIDAYS?! \o/
- work is an exercise in patience. almost everyone I work with is pissed off that Obama won. I just skip through the hallways and sing to myself. :D
- ( zombie!me from my office on halloween )
- there's been a lot of talk lately on my flist about The West Wing so I'm rewatching the first four seasons. I would watch more, but those are the only ones I have. :D Josh Lyman and Sam Seaborn are still my tv boyfriends. and I saw it someone's journal.. um. somewhere. but they mentioned that they were not just a Democrat, but a Bartlet Democrat. and all I could think in response to that was 'YESSSSSS!' Earlier I watched "Six Meetings Before Lunch" which has one of my favorite moments in the entire series and points to the kind of idealistic Democrat I tend to be.
I know it's probably wildly naive but. the way the characters talk on this show, the way they believe in things. I never thought I would feel that way about my actual government. ♥
