cause no one could've seen this coming

absolutely fantastic day. it's been storming on and off and my god have I missed living next to the ocean during a storm. (or you know just living next to the ocean.) everything is so dark and beautiful and just. I love it.

dinner and presents with the family. got a bunch of really awesome things and seriously my family knows me too well. (my parents were very amused that my brother and I got each other comics. I got him the first part of the graphic novelization of The Dark Tower He got me Watchmen. \o/)

and then I came back to my hotel, took a bath, built a fire, listened to the sound of the waves and just kind of spaced out for a while. I've been pretty damn depressed lately, but today was just good.

tomorrow I get to drive down to SLO and babysit little miss Sophie. she's already planning out what we're going to do. heeeee.
