parents are in town. \o/
mom and I already have plans to see Up (only because I couldn't convince her to see Star Trek again. and don't think I didn't try!)
they're leaving thursday morning so this is really just a whirlwind visit. I kinda want to stow away in their car when they leave.

does anyone have any recs for Spock/Uhura? how about Uhura/Gaila? in fact where is all the Gaila fic in general? (everyone pretty much agrees that she was actually on the Enterprise and we just didn't see her for the rest of the movie, right?)
oh and Pike fic. I don't really want to read slash about him (especially not Kirk - too many icky daddy issues) but het or gen would be faboo.
