fuck.

guys I could really use some good thoughts about now.

we're getting hammered with a winter storm and all around my house is flooded. my shower is backed up with sewage. I've spent the last hour putting everything I own as high up as possible. the power keeps flickering (and please please power wait until my phone is charged before going.) I've got a few days worth of clothes packed into a bag. I'm going to stay as long as I can so that I can deal with any of the minor disasters (we did undo the sewer thingy out front and that at least stopped the overflow onto the bathroom floor) but I might have to evacuate tonight.

I'm not entirely sure where I'm going... but if worst comes to worst.... I can always go to my office.

I HATE WINTER AND ARIZONA AND BASICALLY EVERYTHING.

update: arizona and it's sucky sucky weather.

am alive.

when I called my boss to tell him what was going on, he told me to go get a hotel room and put it on the company card.

so I'm safe.

now let's just cross our fingers for everything I own. (I just talked to my landlord and she said the water has receded a little bit... but we've still got the heavy part of the storm coming our way.)
