okay so. home from Glendale. um. quick impressions for now because wow do I need to get to sleep.
I would spread my legs for Michael Johns in a heartbeat. just. holy god DAMN. his set was We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions, It's All Wrong, But It's All Right and Dream On. AMAZING. A-FUCKING-MAZING. and yeah. somewhere in the middle of that he went from 'oh yeah he's totally hot' to 'omg I would absolutely no question no hesitation have sex with him.' idk.
Brooke and Carly were both made of awesome. and Jason! omg Jason. ♥
Archie was FANTASTIC. like I knew he was a good singer but he completely blew me away. my friend D, who before tonight always refered to him as "that creepy little kid" could not stop talking about him on the car ride home.
oh David Cook. I just. I can't even. he opened with Hello and just. MOTHER FUCKING FLAIL. he then did Time of my Life which I was very pleased to see was not the last song. then was I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing. GUH. and then. AND THEN. he tells the crowd that his brother's tumor has stopped growing and OMG THE CROWD WENT BANANAS. I myself did not actually cry (shocking!) but when he made the announcement I GASPED and just started clapping and screaming along with everyone else. from that he launched into My Hero which !!!!!! and before tonight I would have said that I prefered the acoustic version but OH MY HOLY LIVING HELL he was a FUCKING ROCK. STAR. he just started thrashing on his guitar and I thought I might explode. so um. yeah.
and then he left the stage and we all screamed and he came back out and did Billie Jean and *dies* just. *sigh* I fucking love him so much it's unreal. the show was great and frankly it all just felt like a mini-preview as to what we'll get when he gets out on his own after all the Idol stuff is done. I APPROVE.
there was more stuff that hopefully I'll be able to sort out in my head at some point but all in all a great show, lots and lots of fun. met
livehead16 (who ended up with front row seats!!!!!!) and now I get to wait for Saturday when I see the show again. \o/
