I'm lost inside this crowd

- I just got the craziest idea for the Cook big bang thingy. and um. I think I'm going to try it. \o/

- in not so great Cook news, I really don't think I'm going to be able to make any shows on his tour (assuming of course we ever get tour dates.) I don't know. I just know there are a lot of bills past due right now and while my tax refund is usually pretty good, I don't know that I'm going to have a whole lot left over. being an adult sucks.

- also probably not going to happen for me this year: Azkatraz, Comic-Con, Wincon or the rumored Criminal Minds con. meh.

- on the plus side, not running around the country will allow me time to go home and visit my family. I really miss spending time with my brother, and of course, Miss Sophie Precious Face. I know for sure I'm going home in April -- both mom and brother share a birthday -- so that should be good times.

- still all o.O about Criminal Minds last night. I need to move where I have fandomy people around me again, so I can just walk up to them and say a;lsdkjf;lasjkdf HOTCH and they'll understand.

- back to work. blah.

I know! I don't really care about the cons so much as I do SEEING MY FRIENDS. *sigh*

[although, this does allow more time to save for the 2010 HP con in Orlando. and I am so there. beyond the con, I used to live there so it will almost be like GOING HOME. (for real, Orlando is the only place I've lived besides where I grew up that ever really truly felt like it was my home.)]

Screw conventions, man - we should just arrange to have a meeting in a hotel in the middle of America which everyone who matters (ie, everyone WE want to see/hang with) can easily get to and then proceed to spend a weekend of AWESOME. :D :D
