well hello there flist! I've missed you!
house sale finally went completely through and the parents and I have moved to our new temp digs. will be here about 5-6 months when I will finally move into a place of my own (\o/) and the parents will move back to CA. sweet.
was without the interwebs for about a week. as per usual the first few days were annoying and difficult and then by the time I got access again, I was used to doing other things. but it's a good thing that I have it again as I was running out of Scrubs episodes to watch. :p
after a series of mishaps that left me crying for about an hour and a half Friday night, finally made it to M's house where I got cleaned up and we headed out to our favorite bar. got our beer, walked out on to the patio where almost immediately I felt someone grab my arm. it was B. proceeded to hang out with him ALL NIGHT. got way too drunk. so did he. nothing untoward happened. I do remember holding hands at the end of the night, but have no idea how we got to that point. hi, I'm a 1950's teenager. maybe next week he can take me out to the soda shop for a malt. *facepalm*
the test will be work tomorrow. if he's normal then yay! if not, well. I'll be bummed out, but seriously seeing him out in the real world is probably the best thing that could have happened. he's really a gigantic dork, which yes on one hand makes him more attractive to me, but also has made him into more of a real person, faults and all. it was good that I finally saw some faults (obnoxious drunk!) because he was becoming almost mythical in my head. and that's not healthy.
still, if nothing else happens I do have the good (if somewhat foggy) memories of a fun Friday night.
look at me being all adult about this. I'm sure I'll return to my normal ridic self soon enough. :p
