someday this song will make me think of things other than Jim Kirk. today is not that day.

- relatedly, cathybites that is the best damn v-gift EVER! I don't think anyone got a picture of me in my glasses. SIGH. oh well. I'll have to scan the drawing dramedy did.
- the light of day and sleep and my mom being made of awesomesauce have gone a long way to healing my freak out from last night. I have this thing where I don't like to ask for help, or burden people with my problems, or some other martyr bullshit. which you know. is fine except for when it all piles up and then something small and not even related sets off the bomb in my head and I become a lunatic. I still remember a truly specatular meltdown my freshman year in college when I couldn't get the closet door to stay closed. so. yeah. (also, even though there is no real good reason for them, I seem to have abandonment issues that could give Jim Kirk a run for his money. which wtf self. just. wtf.)

enough of my ridiculousness. because today is an awesome day that brought me not one but two utterly spectacular people.
