Thank you for the good thoughts re: my dad.

Mom called from the hospital. She's bringing my dad home tonight. \o/ He had blood clots in his leg, one in the graft in his thigh, one behind his knee and a vein that was collapsing in his calf. FUN! Only you know. Not. BUT. They think they got everything fixed and if Dad can refrain from being a total dumbass (read: letting his leg hurt for A MONTH without doing anything about it) he should be just fine. I love him, but my mom and I are ready to kick his ass. She told him THREE WEEKS AGO that he should get his leg checked out but oh no "it's just a charlie horse it'll go away." Guess what genuis! It didn't go away. THAT WAS YOUR FIRST CLUE.

Family. They're crazycakes.

don't know about his vacation. he actually had to go back in today because blood is still not getting to his foot. I'm worried that next step is going to be amputation. :(
