loveflyfree- party was okay. I wore a pretty dress and had pretty hair and danced with my friends. B and his girl (who was perfectly nice so I can't even dislike her) sat at the same table as us. *SIGH*
- dad is doing... well he has a fever. and there's a chance that the doctor will need to take more of his leg. will find out more tomorrow.
- I've said it before but 2007 has pretty much been a suckfest. 2008? how about you let things turn around a bit? thanks.

on 2007-12-17 05:31 am (UTC)and, man, I am so with you on 2007. It wasn't completely craptastic for me - um. other than the whole broken leg thing - but I know it was for a lot of people, and I would really like for 2008 to be at least a little better for everyone.

I hope your dad is okay. I know it's not that comforting, but a fever is pretty common after a big surgery! I hope you and dad get good news tomorrow and that he gets to come home soon. Betsy misses him!

although hard to keep the intellectual part in my head when I'm watching my dad get the shakes from his fever.
god Joie. everything makes him so tired. sitting up in bed. using the little bar thingy to hoist himself upright. he's so exhausted after. it hurts to watch. it hurts to not break down. but I can't because both Mom and Dad need me to lean on. sometimes literally. like this. here. this is my breakdown time, away from them. I just wish that my away from them time, wasn't so far away from people like you, Cathy, Lesa, Lori, Mel and all the other people that I know I can lose it in front of.
I'll let you know what the doctor says and weather they end up taking more of his leg or not.
and oh man. you aren't kidding about Betsy missing him. she's gonna drive Mom and I nuts. ♥
