can't take the sky from me

- so I meant to leave the house. I really did. but then I noticed there was a Firefly marathon on Sci-fi and yes I own the series and yes I've seen it all eleventy billion times but it's FIREFLY. *happy sigh*

- and now it's several hours later from when I wrote the above and god DAMN this show! it's been how many years now and it just doesn't matter. every emotional punch that I felt the first time I watched it I still feel. I've pretty much cried myself into quite a headache, but I can't stop watching. (although we're on "Objects in Space" so I kinda have to stop since it's the last ep.)

- I don't want to go to work tomorrow.

- I feel. I feel like I'm in a holding pattern. Will the sale of the house finalize? Are my parents moving back to CA? Am I going to go it alone here? I just. I want stuff to happen already! I'm a pretty patient person normally, except when everything is totally out of my hands. Then I want answers NOW.

I haven't bought any tickets yet but we're planning on flying Southwest into Vegas on Wed. Flight to Anaheim or wherever is on Sat the 14th @ 12:15, also on Southwest. Flying home from Cali on Sunday.

We've got a place to stay in Cali but we're splitting the cost of a hotel room (well, hotel rooms since we'll be switching roommates after the first night) for Vegas. Wed night, we're staying with jewels667 and her roomy and then Thurs and Fri, we're with Loey. They booked rooms at the host hotel, whatever that is, so it's pretty pricey but it shouldn't be too bad with all of us pitching in.
