- went out for dinner for my mom's birthday. good times. called the brother as it is his birthday as well. man I miss that kid sometimes. (I say kid, but he's 33.)

- am working my ass off at work for a couple of volunteer projects that we have going on and I've already been told by a couple of people that they won't participate because they don't want to make our company look good. grrrrr argh. look. I get it. I really do. the company is run by a bunch of douche bags... but you really think not helping people who need it is the way to go? really? *sigh*

Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber is so awesome.

Syesha - best performance from her. why did she wait so long to show personality? bah.

Jason - he just needs to put on a pair of flip flops and start touring with Jack Johnson already. I do like him though.

Brooke - I can't help it. I really like her. and I disagree with Paula. if she forgot the words she has to stop. she can't make up words to the song. whatever, Paula is totally crazy.

David A - he's good blah, blah, blah. whatever he bugs.

Carly - a couple of shaky notes, but dude. I like that song. plus, I really like her dress.

David C - *throws panties* I'm running out of ways to say he's awesome. *waits impatiently for iTunes*

Sadly, I think Brooke might be out. :(

No shit. I totally agree with you on (almost) everything.

David A tonight sounded like he was singing for a baby-food commercial. I was like, Webber week will be perfect for him because he never fails to pick the TWEE-est songs. Though I cannot say he does not have a great voice and talent.

DAVID C-- David Cook was the one I was like, "ehh, he'll be gone soon" in the beginning of the season. Now I think he could actually win it. Wow-- he did that song tonight totally straight, no twisting, no bones. He really does continue to impress.

And yeah, I always liked Syesha, but she's been really boring recently-- maybe she's upped it a notch, finally. And Carly? SCREAMS. I am sooo over her. I loved her when she sang "Blackbird" and "Come Together;" I don't know why she has to scream everything now. And I can't forgive her for singing "Total Eclipse of the Heart."

yeah. Carly is pretty uneven. I liked her tonight, but she skated through the last couple of weeks. I think "Come Together" has been her best performance.

and yeah. David C has just continued to get better and better. I love that he didn't twist the song this week (well maybe a little at the end, but that's okay.) I like that he knows when to stay true to the original and when to try something a little more daring.

Syesha is really good, she just hasn't really stood out for me. She was fantastic tonight.
