I am completely moved in to my new house. and by completely moved in, I mean there is a metric fuckton of boxes all over the house waiting to be unpacked. as soon as I get things all straightened up I'll take pictures because seriously, this place is so cute. and so tiny! it's me sized. :D

have yet to watch this week's SPN. it's on my dvr (\o/) though so I think it's going to be my post race cool down tomorrow. oh right. tomorrow is the 10k race I've been training for. I have no illusions about even placing in the race, but I'm really looking forward to doing it. there's another 10k race coming up in September that I might push and train a little harder for. we'll see.

my obsession with David Cook continues. seriously it's getting ridiculous. plans are being made to see the Idol tour 4th of July weekend in Vegas. anyone else up for it?

I should go to sleep and rest for the race. *loves all of you*

well, I walk the 10k. am nowhere near in shape enough to run it. but I had a good time of just under two hours to walk it, which is a personal best. go me! \o/

okay, so let's talk about this because now I am really considering the trip. there are always crazy affordable packages/flights from Vancouver to Vegas and now that I have a job (if they would allow me the time off), I could whack it on a card and pay it off later.

plans so far include driving (I only live about 4 hours away) to Vegas probably on the evening of July 3rd (Thursday), staying in cheapish hotel (but the more people that go the nicer place we can stay!), doing Vegas-y stuff on the 4th, and then seeing the show on the 5th, and going home on the 6th.

this all very tentative at this point. so far my friend D and I are definitely going. we have a couple of other friends who might go (but they're both pretty flaky so I'm not holding my breath.)

tickets go on sale on May 17th, so OMG. after you start work see if you can get the time off. it is a holiday weekend here in the states, so I don't know how affordable things are going to be. *crosses crossables*
