see. I say that I want a day with nothing to do, but then that day happens and I'm BORED out of my mind. thankfully my friend D took pity on me and took me out to lunch and then shopping at Walmart where I managed to spend $70 and not get one single thing that I went in there for. \o/ (although I did buy things I needed. just not what I was looking for at the time.)

so yesterday being David Cook Day (no really. the governor of Missouri put out a proclamtion and everything) brought just an embarrassing wealth in pics and media of the rockstar boyfriend. by far my favorite things were the radio interview where he cried (he's SENSITIVE okay!) and these pics where he threw out the first pitch at the Kansas City/Baltimore game. ♥

AHAHAHA Oh, how the mighty fallen. I think my first week watching him was when he sang "All Right Now". I didn't make a post about watching until they got into the top 12, but I remember finding him massively attractive.

um. yes. :) Michael is very. distracting. (seriously all my favorite behind the scenes stuff is with the two of them because HELLO.)

and I looked through my journal and found that it was Mariah week before I declared on real affection for Mr. Cook. I just don't know what is wrong with me sometimes. :)

of course since then this journal has been like All Cook All the Time. and since we've got two more weeks and then I'm going to see at least two of the shows on tour... I don't see that really stopping any time soon. :D

i've quite literally spent the entire day today catching up on what i missed yesterday. what a crazy, special day for him (and for us!).

oh that song. yes. in fact. ALL of his songs. one of the things that caught me completely off guard was how much I truly love his pre-Idol music. the lyrics! his lyrics are amazing. I just want to sit down with him and talk about how he writes because his songs are so so good.

and heh. my ringtone is 'always be my baby.' it's also the one I use for my alarm clock. so. yeah. :)
