home from Vegas. MUCH FUN WAS HAD.
seriously like that was just what I needed. vacation ftw! people I met were generally awesome. finally met![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
enoughoflove after god knows how long we've been on each other's flists and seriously y'all, she is the nicest person ever. EVAR. so sweet. hung out with shutyourface for the first time in 5 fucking years, which is just bullshit and we promise never to go that long without seeing each other again. randomly ran into xingou after the show (and omg I'm SO SORRY that I was all '????' at first. I blame Brendon Urie.) met lots and lots of cool girls and just generally had a fun, relaxing yet hectic (why yes, I am a study in contrasts) time.
got the tattoo that I mentioned in my last post. pictures will be following soon hopefully.
did a few touristy Vegas things. watched the fountains at the Bellagio. walked around a couple of the casinos. went to the dolphin thingy at the Mirage. got my picture taken in front of the LOVE theater (will have those pictures afterenoughoflove gets home) and um. possibly other stuff? I don't remember.
MOSTLY BECAUSE PANIC AT THE DISCO ATE MY FACE OFF.
that show? fucking AWESOME. so much fun and I finally get it. like I've always liked their music. but I finally get what all the fuss is about the boys themselves. it's pretty unlikely that I'll be diving into bandom anytime soon, but at least now I can see it. Jon Walker I always thought was cute so that was no big surprise except he's like exponentially hotter while playing. Spencer Smith is very attractive. and one hell of a drummer. Ryan Ross is ADORABLE. and FUNNY. I had no idea. And omg Brendon Urie I did not know that I would be thinking the thoughts I'm having about you. I just. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN. (seriously they did "Lying is the most fun..." and he said 'fuck' and I was a goner. it's ridic. it's not like I haven't listened to that song a bajillion times before. *SIGH* also, when he said the song title as "it's better if you do.... me" I may have fallen a little. JUST A LITTLE. stupid Panic.)
opening acts were good. Phantom Planet was BY FAR my favorite. The Hush Sound were good but mostly I just stared at their drummer who is just a slice of hotness. seriously. Motion City Soundtrack would probably have been good if I wasn't in agony from having been on my feet all day and OMG WHY IS YOUR SETLIST SO LONG, I AM NOT HERE TO SEE YOU! *breathes*
so yes. I get the whole attraction thing now. I'm still unconvinced on other bands so I'm thinking that I probably won't be won over by them until I've seen them live. oh noes, what a hardship for me. :)
