okay so I hardly ever do this but I want to be able to find these lyrics again quickly so I'm posting them.

I am so in love with To Have Heroes that it's kinda ridic. To Have Heroes is the current project of Andy Skib. Andy Skib used to be in Midwest Kings with... yes you guessed it, David Cook. he's really good and this song is currently my favorite. it's also making me cry like a little bitch. so do with that what you will.

*squeals* i have barely turned off the EP since i got it last weekend. i love it. i like "better day", but my favorite is "LA Girl". and "story of your life". he's an incredible songwriter for a 22-year-old, geez.

don't know if you joined the lj comm yet, but he's doing some sort of video Q&A on justin.tv tomorrow (sat) at 3:30pm our time.

i really like all the songs. like A LOT. "better day" was just the one that reduced me to tears so it got my attention. :) and holy jesus. he's only 22? ugh.

yeah i saw that. hopefully i'll be back from running my errands by then so i can watch.

but yeah. i really like his stuff. i have to admit that i approached it not expecting much. i worry sometimes that fangirls will support anything related to their fav celebrity and not really look at the content. but yay he's awesome! \o/

yes, that. exactly. and i've been guilty of doing that myself sometimes. but andy really is awesome. and yeah, he's 22. *shakes head* he also has engineering credits on analog heart, which i only just found out. and did vocals on "silver".

i'm about to go send him a message on facebook & point out to him that he really should schedule a gig for sept 12th in tulsa. heh.

aside from just my selfish desire to see him perform live, i think it would be a really smart move on his part. i think we could round up quite a turnout of cook fans who will be in town, anyway. and, um, as a possible bonus, the idols don't have a show that night. so, y'know, guest stars are always welcome.

i would actually consider going out to his gig in L.A. ... except i'm in kansas city that night, seeing the boyfriend. oops.
