am I the hero or the villain

so I dreamt about Spencer Reid and David Archuleta.



so I was assisting in some sort of investigation that was happening at what was supposed to be my old high school. I'm pretty sure the whole CM gang was there, but I only really remember Reid, Hotch, Garcia and JJ. anyway. we were out in the woods behind the high school and looking for something. a body maybe. the local police were with us and didn't trust the BAU. I have no idea why. so anyway Reid and I were talking about a bunch of things and all was well. then I overheard one of the local cops say that they thought Reid did it. they planted something so Reid would go back to the squad car. he did and I followed but no one knew I was there. then once he was there the cops all pulled their guns on him. he was understandably confused. I pulled my gun (wtf!) and pointed it towards Reid. he looked all hurt and I just looked at him, willing him to understand. whoever the killer was had some kind of mark on his neck. I had one of the cops go look at Reid and they were finally convinced that he was not the killer. during all of this Hotch, JJ and Garcia walked up and Garcia was all "omg Regina how could you?!" and I couldn't take the time to explain that I was helping.

the cops backed away from Reid and he looked at me and asked if I could have really pulled the trigger. I lowered the gun, and I think I dropped it because I didn't have it a few moments later. we stepped closer to each other and I put my hand on his chest and said, "no. besides we already determined that you are the heart." he smiled and said "not the brain?" "no. definitely the heart." and then we were making out. \o/

then it was back to the case. we found a group of hunters. David Archuleta was with them and really looked like he would rather be anywhere else in the world. he kept saying that he didn't like hunting. no one he was with would listen to him. finally Hotch pulled some sort of, he's a minor and none of you are his father so we're taking him. he was so grateful. and JJ and Garcia were all over him making sure he was okay and squeeing at how adorable he is and Reid and I just stood there with bemused looks on our faces.

and David was trying to tell us something about what was out there in the woods. but he couldn't get the words out. and it felt like we were being watched.

and then I woke up.

seriously brain? although THANK YOU for the Reid parts because mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. and it's not that I don't appreciate Criminal Minds/AI crossover dreams, because frankly that's kinda awesome. hey, next time could you include Cook. I'd kinda like to see Garcia's face if Cook was around. ♥

HAHAHAHA I KNOW RIGHT. It would be like the time Hotch's brother showed up and she and JJ and Elle were all there trying to get a glimpse of him. heeeee. and oh! Garcia would tell him how she texted 1000s of votes for him. and Derek would glower and mumble under his breath. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee omg cm writing staff get on that! ♥

hahahah. how awesome would it be. Reid could spout off some statistic about how hard it is to win AI and Cook could just stand there with a bemused look on his face. meanwhile, Garcia has inched closer to him and is now leaning her head against his arm. and because he's the kind of guy that he is, he puts his arm around her. which is when derek gets PISSED. omg I love my brain.

and like Hotch kinda steps in and leads Garcia away, both because it's inappropriate and because he really doesn't want to have to stop Derek from killing the person that they're supposed to be protecting. so yeah. some crazy person has been abducting and killing david cook fangirls and the bau thinks it's a short step until they go after david himself. the latest girl that's been taken is um. a girl that he's met before. in um. >.> vegas. I believe her name is mary sue. ANYWAY. in the meantime david has to stay with at least one member of the team at all times. garcia volunteers but first shirt goes to derek. cook, who is always... cook finally asks what the attitude is about and derek gets all 'doesn't like to see garcia messed with' and cook says something along the lines of 'didn't mean to mess with your girl' at which point derek has to back off a little and admit that they're not like that and cook then says that the look in derek's eyes says different. \o/

because Garcia is awesome and because Mary Sue has an online journal in which she talks about everything they're able to get clues to where she might be. and then the team saves Mary Sue but Cook ended up with a gun somehow and he's the one who had to shoot the unsub (because omg I can't handle Reid's face if he has to kill another person) but the unsub isn't dead so they can still put him in jail forever and ever. and then Mary Sue sees Cook and just starts crying because HI HOW DO YOU HANDLE THAT and Hotch is holding her up and finally she just collapses to the ground and David comes over and he's afraid to touch her because she looks like she'll break into a million tiny pieces at any moment but then he does and he sits in front of her and they just lean their heads together and she's still crying and so is he a little. and then they get Mary Sue to the hospital and David is cleared of all charges for shooting the unsub and then the very end is Derek talking with Garcia and telling her how important she is to them... to him. and he knows that he's not all he should be to her. and then maybe he kisses her forehead.

*fade to black*
