SHE MAKES ME WANT TO PUKE EVERY TIME SHE OPENS HER CUTSIE ASS MOUTH. Please, God don't let this woman be our vice president....

I can't even deal with the thought of her being our vice president. She's a joke. She can't answer one single question. Meanwhile, Biden is wiping the floor with her and I'll bet tomorrow we'll hear from the Republican side that they "won" the debate.

HOW IS THIS WOMAN EVEN ON THE TICKET?!

Haha, I'm watching our Canadian All Candidates Debate right now and I'd seen some of the Presidential and Vice Presidential American debate AND THE TWO ARE SO DIFFERENT!!!

The Canadian party leaders are all just sitting around a table, like they're having a casual conversation with each other. No one's yelling or being angry; they're all polite. The Prime Minister even raised his hand to ask the moderator if he could speak. IT IS SO BIZARRE in comparison.

My mother used to be Canadian... Do you think they'd take her daughter (ie: me) back in her place? I don't want to stay here. (Plus, you can get sausage rolls in Canada, which is also a big positive).

Depending on the election results you might not want to come north. The only reason we're having an election this month is because Stephen Harper knows the only chance he has of re-election is if Bush is still in office in the States. Canada's elections tend to follow the States'... probably because we're exposed to so much American culture and a lot of people usually want someone who will work well with the President. So... Republican President = Conservative Prime Minister... usually.

Not that the Prime Minister does anything anyway... we've had two minority governments back to back and they don't get ANYTHING done.

OH MY GOD, I TRY TO BE WELL INFORMED AND WATCH THE DEBATES, BUT SHE MAKES ME WANT TO PUNCH MY OWN FACE TO KNOCK MYSELF OUT SO I DON'T HAVE TO LISTEN TO ANY MORE. I didn't think anyone could be more condescending and smarmy and make me hate things more than Bush, but she makes Bush look like a great orator. I keep having to turn off the TV whenever she opens her face.

I'm starting to think this might be the Republican Master Plan... make all their public speaking so horrible that none of us can watch and then they can talk about all sorts of things that will infringe upon our lives that we will not notice over our own incessant screeching of pain about their 'oratory style.'

this has been the most painful television experience ever. EVER.

I kept muting her because I just couldn't take it.

Here's the thing. I will never understand the fear of smart people in this country. I mean, I worship brains to an extreme... Give me two candidates and I will almost always vote for the guy with the most degrees. But the praise for mediocrity in this country makes me so angry. The fact that a leading quality in a candidate is his/her ability to be *just like you* down to your beer drinking habits makes me want to hurl. I am unqualified to be President. Everyone like me is unqualified to be president. Everyone I personally know is unqualified to be President. The President should be more and better than us all. He should be uniquely qualified. He should be the freaking Michael Phelps of Politics. If we as a people decide that the person we want representing us, and in charge of us, and guiding the course of our country to be the guy we drink beer with on Thursday nights (or just like him) then we deserve what we freaking get.

Oh, Jesus. She can't name any moment in which she compromised because she, as she puts it, is governor and thus can do whatever she wants until the courts tell her that she can't. And also that she's a fucking idiot.

Plessy V. Ferguson, Brown V. Board of Education, UCLA V. Bakke, Miranda V. Arizona. Four off of the top of my head in the span of five seconds, all of them major watershed cases. You fucking imbecile.

I know. I almost can't believe that she's actually REAL.

the fact that she couldn't come up with Brown v. Board of Education or Miranda v. Arizona, TWO CASES A 7TH GRADER COULD TELL YOU ABOUT, sorta makes me want to vomit.

I can't believe she's a candidate. *sigh*

I BELIEVE OUR CANDIDATES SHOULD BE ABLE TO WIN ON "ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5TH GRADER?"

Does that make me an elitist? I'll be over here eating arugula.

I think Biden showed an AMAZING amount of restraint last night. what got me was everytime she would randomly throw the word 'patriotic' into places where I had no idea why she was even saying the word. UGH.

and now because she didn't fall down and drown in a puddle of her own drool people think she did good job. WHAT.
