second Twilight viewing today, this time with D who I thought was going to hurt something laughing at several points during the movie. and oh. so awesome. a group of tween girls literally squealed when RPatz showed up onscreen. lolz.

also, I actually realized that Bella has like one good quality. (although it's pretty much negated by the rest of her behavior so *shrugs*) she never tries to be someone she's not to get Edward's attention. she never pretends to be smart, or worse, pretends that she isn't smart. far from it. she challenges him when he questions her knowledge. so um. yay. for that one tiny thing.

so am reading New Moon. I feel like I'm the last person to do so, but I'll

omg this is really boring! Jacob! hurry up and FURSPLODE! also, I need Alice. I'm pretty sure at this point that I'm reading this series for Alice and Jasper.

so hey. today is boyfriend's 26th birthday. sorry that whole music thing didn't work out and that you'll have to go get a "real" job.

okay so. I know this is going to make me sound like a total moron, but that's not really anything new. um. how do I use twitter? like I have it set up to post from my phone. but like I see people replying to other people. so I guess I need to change the settings so I can follow them from my phone? no seriously. I told you I was dumb.

finished my xmas shopping today. let me tell you. walmart on the weekend before xmas? NOT A GOOD IDEA. now I just need to do my laundry and start packing so I can be ready to leave on wednesday. I can't wait to be home. xmas is not meant to be so cold! it's meant to be in the 60s so I can throw on a light sweater and walk along the beach!!

dude, the second book was totally my least favorite. Soooooo booooooooring. Just a series of Bella making poor choices over and over and over and over and over....

I do like that one fact about Bella, and that in the movie version she's genuinely presented as being just so bad with social situations and people in general, rather than in the books when she's supposed to be Sooper Speshul and it's the rest of society that needs to get in line.

yes. she's actually a likable character in the movie, which I wasn't sure could be done considering the source material.
