- heh. Hotch is so annoyed by things not going through proper channels.
- and they interrupted him watching video of Jack and SMILING. DON'T THEY KNOW HOW RARE THAT IS?
- gotta say I was a little nervous when he got in the elevator with her. of course that was before we learned why she chooses her targets.
- loved everyone. Emily and Reid going to "buy a house" was pretty hiliarious, especially with Reid being a stuttery puppy.
- although really this was all about Hotch for me. and about the kind of man that that he is. and how he's held on to who he is despite everything.
- the end was perfect. perfect Hotch and perfect show. and seriously. why would any woman leave him? (ugh. although I get so conflicted on that because in a way, I understand Haley... except the whole possible affair bit. that shit is just wrong.)

all of which is to say that my Lawful Good kink was hit hard tonight. \o/

I couldn't figure out at the end if she committed suicide... that she had taken poison or something...

The reason I don't think she did because they would have rushed her to the hospital but then again it's TV... btw I love the montage of 'daddy' being screwed over... I wished that happened in real life...

I'm pretty sure she did take the poison. Derek called for an ambulance after they found her and the way she made Hotch promise to stay with her it seemed like she knew she just had a little while left.

I loved that daddy got totally screwed over. I was kinda hoping that she would shoot him (although I suppose that makes her less sympathetic.)

What kind of irritates me is that in season one and the beginning of season two, Haley was all for Hotch going on and doing his job. She urged him to do go on more than one occasion. I think it's so hypocritical of her to then resent the amount of time he spent on his job.

yes! they did such a 180 on her character. very annoying. and the fact that it wasn't just that she wanted him to transfer and stay at home, that they also implied that she was having an affair that just doesn't fit for me. they were high school sweethearts! she's been with him forever. through his years as a federal prosecuter, a job that I'm pretty sure doesn't leave a lot of free time. so now he has a job where he honest to god saving the world and she decides she wants him home. I don't buy that she needed help with Jack. ugh. it's one of the few points in the show where I feel like the writers just dropped the ball.
