- I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this episode yet. I think I'm still processing. That said, of course I still have Thoughts.
- So we now know Emily's Big Childhood Trauma. I was actually thinking abuse, so this caught me a little bit by surprise, but fits in with what we know of geeky misfit Emily.
- I'm getting a little tired of Derek as Skeptic. Not skeptic of demons/religion/etc, but of whether they should be taking the cases. Also it seems that he's usually questioning one of the female agents (it was Derek who questioned their involvement in North Mammon, yes?) I thought we had already established that it was Hotch who didn't trust female agents as much as male agents. (An assertion I'm not sure I buy, but whatever show.)
- Speaking of Hotch, not enough of him. In fact, not enough of everyone. Somehow even though I know they all had screen time I feel like we didn't see enough of the team. Or maybe it was because we saw them more individually. I don't know.
- Given Emily's extreme hatred of politics I sometimes wonder if she's in the right profession. I know she lives in the wrong town.
- So what were we supposed to take from that last scene with her getting a bloody nose in front of the church? That she let evil into her? Ugh. Show you are usually so much better than this!
- I kinda liked Rossi. Not a huge fan of him bulldozing Hotch, but I did like the way he kept Emily on track.
- Bruce Davison. Yay!
- *sigh* Show, I spend all week looking forward to you and then this was just.... *hands*
- Preview for next week looks promising though

Yeah, this one was a bit of a letdown. There's a lot of unanswered questions in this one that I don't know that they'll tie up the way they usually do. I'm really wondering what happened to those other guys who helped the priest.

At least everyone looked pretty? Idk, I got nothing.

yeah. I mean I really really love Emily in it and there were elements of the story that I liked, I just don't think that everything came together. idk.
