VH1 has been showing RuPaul's Drag Race today. you guys. Santino is a judge! it's totally awesome and now I'm going to have to watch The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert because there is nothing like Elrond in a dress singing Abba tunes. :)

I'm really behind on Dollhouse. I just finished 1.4 today and STILL don't really know how I feel about this show.

- I liked that Russian mobster guy turned out to be a doll.
- I like that the dolls are maybe more self aware than they're supposed to be (the little shake of Echo's head when Sierra started to walk towards her)
- I don't like that nerdy science guy is so fucking unlikeable. I think it just frustrates me because that's usually the character I identify with/root for and he's really kind of a despicable excuse for a human being. ugh.
- I can't remember anyone's names except for Echo, Sierra and Ballard. so there's nerdy science guy. and Echo's handler. and Amy Acker/Fred. and Kellerman. and Mary Sue (Ballard's neighbor.)
- the first episode was okay. the second was an hour of misogynistic crap and I'm pretending it doesn't exist. (except I like that it sets up Echo and Echo's handler's relationship as being very Buffy and Giles in that he cares too much sort of thing.) episodes three and four had moments I liked, I just haven't connected with the show yet.
- I have a few more episodes still saved on my dvr, so I can watch those, and hopefully finally feel like I'm watching a Joss Whedon show. I forget who on my flist said it, but they pointed out that so far this show doesn't really have that snappy Joss dialogue that all the other shows had. I think that's really one of the things that I'm missing.
- I assume the spoiler for who is going to be cast as Alpha is still true. which is why I'm sticking with this show. :)

I have two episodes of The Mentalist to catch up on. also the pilot episode of Kings. so much TV!!!

am enjoying the hell out of Castle even though it isn't the best show ever. oh Nathan. how are you so damn charming?! ♥

the last 3 eps of DH have been awesomesauce, imo. especially the last two. and next week looks A+++++

also i'm watching the pilot of kings right now!! the first 20 mins or so are all setup and just kind of okay but after that i think it gets kind of rad.

omg, i thought that was just me. i'm caught up through all 7 episodes, and i still can't remember any names!! the characters must not be saying each other's names much, or something.

i LIKE topher (nerdy science guy), but apparently that's just me, because you're not the only one on my flist who doesn't.

idk if you read my post earlier (possibly not, because it would have spoiled you a bit), but i'm still loving it. the snappy dialogue has started to pick up, btw. there were some laugh-out-loud moments in the past couple of eps. hang in there! it's getting good!

so far I find Topher (a name! woot!) really kind of creepy. kind of like Warren on Buffy. I mean, there is definite room for growth, but right now he totally creeps me out.

I didn't read it because of spoilers, but that's good to know that the dialogue has started to pick up. I really do want to like it. I'll probably watch the other episodes I have tomorrow.
