as I'm sure everyone on my flist already knows Andy Hallett died at the age of 33. I only met him once, but it left a lasting impression as he was very sweet and gracious and fantastically talented.

I remember being at the dance/karaoke event of a Firefly convention and getting up to dance when someone started singing "Superstition" and being amazed that someone so good had started singing. It took a minute but suddenly I realized that Andy Hallett was on stage singing. He wasn't an announced guest at the con so it was such a surprise and he was so awesome with everyone.

I'm really glad I have that memory.

that is the con where we met! apparently he had ongoing health problems, but yes, still so so young. :(
