today has been... well, I'm hesitant to say good but there were moments. chief among them was having it out with friend D at work about how I've been feeling with our friends (um. pretty shitty) and how she's been feeling in regards to how she and I are treated by mgmt/co-workers (also pretty shitty.) amazing what can happen when you talk out your problems. ;)

I see Supernatural fandom is still batshit crazy. *shakes head*

the thing is, I would love to talk to Misha about fanfiction because I find fandom in general to be fascinating. from an academic perspective. he's both smart and dreamy people, just let me have this one. :)

meanwhile, this has been my happy place for the past couple of weeks:

Yes. Talk about myths and shared storytelling and carved-out spaces over a couple of beers. (You know, whenever people get down on fandom, I tell them that we threw together a 40,000 strong outright revolt in the span of about a day and a half when StrikeThrough happened.
