- work was just like yesterday. only WORSE. ahahahahhaa. I can't wait for tomorrow!

- AI was enjoyable tonight. Adam and Matt are my favs. Except dammit Matt I effing HATE THAT SONG. *sigh* he sounded awesome though.

- there were things. things I was going to talk about that I now cannot remember. that is very annoying.

- tomorrow we're having a pie auction at work to raise money for the local food bank. I made two. banana split pie and strawberry daiquiri pie. honestly, they both look and taste pretty awesome. I'll try to remember to get pictures.

- guys I can't stop watching NCIS. Mark Harmon man. what am I... 16 again? (Summer School ftw.)

- two more weeks before I go visit the family and frankly it can not get here fast enough. birthday shenanigans with mom (we're going to see Les Mis at a local theater company) and the brother (um... it will probably involve drinking and/or video games) and my dad wants us to go wine tasting one of the days and just. ♥

OMG YOUR PIES SOUND INCREDIBLE. Thank goodness I picked up an apple pie from a Ukrainian Catholic bake sale over the weekend and can go have a piece now, hee!

it is ludicrously easy. a package of cream cheese softened and then beaten until fluffy-ish. slowly beat in one can of condensed milk. then beat in 2 tbsps of rum and 2/3 cup of strawberry daiquiri mix. once all of that is in fold in a cup of whipped topping.

instead of graham crackers, I made the crust out of pretzels so there would be a little bit of salt flavor with the sweet.

I topped it with sliced strawberries so I could be fancy. it's possible I watch too much food network. :)

I AM SAD THAT I HAVE NO MONEY TO BID ON MY OWN PIES. :(

yeah. that song sucks hardcore. but Adam sang one of my very favorite songs ever so really I blocked everything else. :)

heeeeeeeee. they're currently leading the bidding. cause I'm awesome! I think I'm going to make another daiquiri pie just for me! (actually, I'll probably make it when I'm visiting the family so I don't eat a whole pie by myself!)
