I just made a twitter and am following Kal Penn, Donnie Wahlberg, La Timberlake, Bono, Sequential Tart, and roboppy (she writes my favourite food blog (http://www.roboppy.net/food)) so far! Among a few lesser-known people. *g*
One thing I realized is that I'm not so much interested in following people I know on lj, because hell, I could just read their ljs!! That seems far more fulfilling to me, heh.
yeah. I think that's one of the reasons I've been resistant to Twitter is because well. I already read lj. and I don't necessarily need to know what everyone is doing every minute of the day.
but I am totally interested in what famous people are doing! heh.
(also omg that food blog I may have to love you forever for that link.)
Famous people are the way to go! Donnie's twitter is COMEDY GOLD.
Roboppy seriously has the most fun and accessible food blog I've read! All of the others are so high-falutin' and regularly churn out things like casual suppers of asparagus with walnut crema and peccorino, which is nice but sometimes you just want to read the adventures of a girl who crams herself full of curtido and macarons and pork products!!!
also, ashton kutcher is amusing: http://twitter.com/aplusk so is trent reznor: http://twitter.com/trent_reznor and if you add trent you should also add dave navarro because they talk to each other all the time: http://twitter.com/davenavarro6767
also, all the panic boys are on there and super adorb, if you care.
I follow Neil Gaiman (http://twitter.com/neilhimself) and Eddie Izzard (http://twitter.com/eddieizzard). There used to be a fake Christopher Walken who would post the most random stuff, so it's kinda funny to read, but someone reported it , and the account has been deleted. Chris Cornell (http://twitter.com/chriscornell) is there too, but he does a lot of replies so I'm sort of considering unfollowing him now.
