my comments: pangs is one of the most under-appreciated btvs episodes of the entire series. the plot is a pretty standard motw, but it is packed with hilarity. everyone keeping angel's presence a secret from buffy. xander gets the funny syphillis. buffy freaking out that they're all going to have a good time at thanksgiving. everything about spike. "you made a bear! undo it! undo it!" good times.

my comments: oh horatio hornblower, how I love thee. the tv show, the books, the fanfic. ♥ hornblower fandom is pretty much divided between hornblower/archie fans and hornblower/bush fans. I very definitely fall in the latter category. (not that jamie bamber isn't a damn good looking man.) but the chemistry between ioan gruffudd and paul mcgann is crazy. and the books? are completely insane with all the hornblower/bush love. which reminds me that I should totally read them again. but yes. truuuueeee looooooove.

my comments: okay, so there was this episode of northern exposure where chris was dating a mathematician who believed if she could take pi out to enough digits, she would basically find the answers to everything. I just have this feeling if I take pi, well past all this static, take pi to 10 million, 20 million digits, that I'll find something really incredible. Not just a pattern, not just an order, but a sign. A mathematical sign. so when I saw this icon I giggled and had to have it. especially given this season's storyline. and my irrational love of math.
