- the internets seem awfully slow tonight.

- Lil. I fear your days are numbered. frankly, I think she's been going downhill since the top 12.
- omg Kris! what an awesome arrangement and holy fuck right at the end of the song he looked sexy as hell. and then he smiled and he looked like a puppy again. whew! Kris don't confuse me like that.
- Allison. it must be crazy making to have the judges constantly be like, 'stay true to your rocker edge' and then turn around and tell her that the slower rockier take on the song was self-indulgent. see also, all their comments to Lil.
- Danny. ugh okay okay! he sounded good. I mean. he's still not my favorite, but he was good.
- Adam. okay, the first time I listened to it, I was not impressed at all. and then the judges were all ZOMG AMAZING so I gave it another listen. much better on second listen.
- Matt. oh Matt. I love you. I really really do. however, Justin Timberlake already exists. that said, he sounded really good.
- Anoop. eh. he sounded good, although the end was pretty rough.

I'm thinking Lil and Anoop are going home. possibly Matt which would make me sad.

- I need to wake up early, pack the truck, work for half the day and then drive and drive and drive and drive and drive some more. I'm hoping to get to the parents house by midnight. *crosses fingers*

- I read a little bit of spn fandom ridiculousness earlier re: the boys down under. and how that big mean Misha manhandled poor delicate Jared on stage and embarrassed him and made Jensen angry. no really. plenty of people yell and scream about how "disrespectful" rps is, but for me it doesn't even come close to treating these men like they're made of porcelain and can't stand up for themselves. except for Misha of course who is super mean. (I mean seriously. you think Misha could really move JARED around if Jared wasn't totally playing along. christ that's just basic physics.)

thanks! I've had face time with the Miss Sophie Precious Face, gone to sushi for dinner, spent time at the beach and had lots of laughs with the parents. life is pretty damn good right now.

Lil, Matt, and Anoop are in the most danger, definitely. Matt may make it by if only because people may vote for him more because of last week, but yeah, the weakest two performances this week were Lil and Anoop. Which is sad because I love Anoop! I hate this part because we're getting to the section of the show where people I actually really like are going to start going home. But I think I can deal with it so long as they take Lil with them. She's just sooo boring. At least the other performers never bore me!

Dude, I keep crossing my fingers that Lil and Anoop will go home. I'm so tired of watching Lil every week. She was AWESOME on her performance during the top 36. I saved it to make Tess watch it, it was so good. But she has not been remotely that good since.

BUT OMG ADAM. I freaking love that man. And Kris also did really well, even though he does not overwhelm me as much as Adam does.

re: AI. KRIS!! I flove him. Especially when he mixes arrangements up like that. And even if Matt doesn't go out this week, I don't think he's going to make it much past next week. Lil and Anoop have been Dead Idols Walking for a while now. And I say that after originally LIKING Anoop.

re: SPN. Are you serious about that stuff? I'd like to find those people and whack them upside the head. Most of the reactions I've read though have been of the overwhelmingly giddy/slashy kind.

yeah most of the stuff I saw about the spn con was all giddy. and the one post I was reading that I talked about here (I don't remember where I saw it or I would link) was just kind of... silly. if she had just said that she didn't like slash and wish that the show/cast/crew wouldn't engage in so much fanservice, while I don't agree I can at least respect that pov. but to couch it in this bizarre concern for jared and jensen and how the must be FEELING. well that's just another form of scary fannish behavior that i would like to stay far away from.
