you guys I need a McCoy of my very own. I mean, I know human cloning is wrong and all, but how about genetic manipulation to create real life fictional characters? that's probably off the table too, huh? SADNESS.

Summer to Fall by atomicskull - Kirk/McCoy, R - Gorgeous atmospheric snippets of Bones and Jim on shore leave in Georgia. Everything is slow and languid, summer in the south and achingly beautiful.

When Jim comes sliding in, he kneels down next to Bones and whispers in his ear, playing with the hair on the nape of his neck – I know you won’t come outside, but I want to dance in the rain for you – and he stands up slowly, letting Bones trail his fingers down over his wrist, snagging their fingers together.

also the world needs more McCoy het.

(why yes I am rereading the Rough and Tumble Series. GOOD STUFF.)

Jim believes in miracles, he does, and to this date the greatest miracle he’s ever born witness to involves getting the happiness back in Bones’ eyes and the smile back on his face. “You want to trust in your lead and keep your eyes up,” he adds, two fingers sliding under his Mom’s chin and raising her gaze. Her short pixie-cut hair bobs forward as she looks up at him and affords him an anxious smile.

INORITE! I love Kirk/McCoy like it was the air that I breath, but sometimes I just want to read about McCoy sexin up the ladies. and ngl, I totally put myself in the story when it's het.

and yeah. just more McCoy in general.
