oh god my mom you guys.

MY MOM IS THE COOLEST.

so. over the weekend I ended up reading this post: Everything You Need to Avoid Becoming a Prisoner of Azkartraz - a bunch of really helpful hints for navigating the city and the hotel and such. excellent. until I got to this:

Parking charge at the hotel is 45.00/night. City parking garage a block away is 25.00/night. One of those garages is at 5th and Mission Street.

at which point I had a full blown panic attack. because idek apparently I've been out of California and certainly out of the Bay Area for long enough now that I've forgotten about things like this. guys! I live in a town without parking meters! there is no way I can afford to pay for parking and since I was driving that was going to be A PROBLEM. commence freaking out periodically all weekend.

so today I get a brilliant idea. and I just called my mom. instead of Christmas presents this year, she just agreed to buy me a plane ticket to SF! it's about the same as parking plus gas so now I might actually have money for extravagent things like eating. \o/

in other news I just watched The Price of Milk which is chock full o' CRAZY but enjoyable because OMG KARL URBAN IS THE CUTEST THING ON THE PLANET. DO NOT TRY TO CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE. when human cloning is perfected I'm going to order TWO!

not sure yet. I still have to work a half day on Friday, so my flight probably won't be until late afternoon. so I'm thinking 7ish? I suppose I should go look up flights now.

I don't really have a favorite color. I kinda like them all. I know that's so lame but. I guess blue or green. or purple. or red. I DON'T KNOW. LOL.
