HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. there do seem to be similarities. I like the idea of Shatner seeing it and incorporating it into his performance. like the little quirk of a smile he sometimes gets. ♥
it has been my favorite movie since i was six, and i remember being very uncomfortable when i realized teh hotness, as i always identified entirely with brigitta and it felt incestuous. but it cannot be denied.
yeah. there was definitely a time when I was younger when it felt almost wrong to think that the Captain was totally the hotness. although I think I got over that pretty quickly. ;)
