DEREK MORGAN UNIT CHIEF!!!

okay so back at the premiere there was an ending shot that focused on Derek, JJ and Prentiss and I speculated at the time that since Hotch is "emotionally compromised" that these three were the ones that would step up and lead the team.

all I can say is: \o/

I have more thoughts on the episode but they're going to take a second viewing before sorting them out. Loved the two actresses playing the kidnapped women at the end and also the parents of the first woman killed, especially the mother.

fucking kick-ass episode. though I did have to handwave a lot of the birth stuff, which always disappoints me. Except... they did do a great job with the umbilical cords. which was a nice change.

The actress who got her son back at the end is someone I love love love, but I can't remember from what.

it was SO GOOD. all the Hotch stuff was making me flaily and then the ending was just like *punches air*

I can understand having to wave the birth stuff. but I'm just always excited when the babies are at least tiny and don't look like the woman just pushed a toddler out of her body.

and yeah that actress is good. I looked her up and she seems to have been in a bunch of random stuff that I've seen.
