loveflyfreeon the way home yesterday I heard on the radio that we were under a winter storm warning. ahahaha. so last night while chatting my power went out. (sorry ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
andrealyn!) this morning it was back on, and then flickered out again. awesome. the rain/snow mix of yesterday turned to all snow last night so there was probably about a foot of snow on the ground. (meaning opening my front door is always fun because the snow drifts all the way up to my door.) it took me 30 minutes to get into my truck because the doors were FROZEN SHUT. I somehow managed to get to work only a few minutes late even with the roads completely iced over because apparently the city/county/whoever is responsible for the roads decided no more overtime for their employees and that means that the roads aren't getting cleared until later in the morning. AWESOME.
I think the storm is over, but I'm betting the roads are still absolute shit until the end of the week.
