there's chemistry, energy, a synchronicity

yeah I was going to try and review the whole episode and talk about each routine but really there are two routines that I think were absolutely amazing. the first was Jakob and Kathryn's contemporary piece. that was so absolutely gorgeous and the two of them were so so good. I think those are definitely the two to beat, but I still think this whole thing is anyone's game. but watching the two of them do that piece was just. it was special. I kind of feel like Adam where he just couldn't say anything because it was that good.

the second you could probably guess if you know me at all but it was Ashleigh and Ryan's contemporary piece. first of all, I loved that they were dancing contemporary together because yes Latin ballroom is hot and sexy but I wanted to see the connection between them, and not necessarily the connection that they would be trying to make with the audience. and Nigel you are a crazy person because the chemistry between Ryan and Ashleigh is beautiful. the dance wasn't perfect and as we saw last week, Travis is capable of putting together some very difficult routines, which this wasn't but god. they love each other so much and I'm just really glad we got to see that. and when Ashleigh just said that everything was "perfect" I lost it again because I'm a big dumb girl who cries at shit like this.

I still really hope that Jakob wins because he is my favorite, but I love everyone in this finale so really it's a win-win all around. ♥

I am DESPERATE for Russell to win. Jakob and Kathryn and Ellenore are all technically better dancers, but I think Russell will go the farthest with the title and the prize relative to how far he'd go without it. If that makes sense. And he has been my favorite since the auditions.
