loveflyfreeahahahaha oh god I just polished off an entire bottle of champagne. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! (okay it looks like it's past midnight although not really, my laptop is still on mountain time even though I am now very much on pacific time. oh beach side hotel how I love thee!)
Christmas day was lovely with many awesome presents and my neices being generally adorable and good food all around. (dad grilled the prime rib and mom made eggnog bread pudding. YUM.)
and then I came back to my hotel room and there was a comp bottle of champagne and I opened it to have "a glass." um. oooops?
I really should get some sleep soon as mom wants to brave the after christmas shopping crowds tomorrow. that should be... interesting.
I hope everyone had a lovely holiday or you know, Friday.
Christmas is an odd holiday for me as I am very much not a Christian. in fact no one in my family is (well actually my dad might be but we don't really talk religion. my mom follows the teachings of Buddha though so I know she's not.) ANYWAY. we do the whole tree and presents thing and I wish people a merry christmas and I mean the words in that I'm wishing people happiness and good will and general warm and fluffy feelings, but they aren't tied to any specific belief system. so mostly when I say the words to my flist what I'm saying is 'HEY I LIKE YOU AND I HOPE THAT YOUR LIFE IS GOOD AND YOU'RE HAPPY.'
I hope this shit is spelled correctly enough that people understand because holy crap the drink just hit my head and I am druuuuuunk.
