- Hi I love Johnny Weir a ridiculous amount

- and this is how we know that I am not cut out to be a competitive athlete... I think I would be happy with a sliver medal. (which is to say that Team USA women's hockey is pissing me off. you came in second. no one is marching you to your death!)

- work has been almost hilariously awful. god the management sucks so damn bad.

- DFC this weekend! I am both very very excited and strangely calm about the whole thing.

- Idol eliminations tonight. I wish they would eliminate more than 4!

The thing with the USA women's hockey team is that they tried three years in a row to win a gold medal and ended up with silver every time, were robbed of gold on their home soil by us and were hoping to return the favour and were denied. Finally, they won every world championship of the past several years and went into this tournament as the #1 team after defeating Canada and ended up with silver. I can understand the heartbreak and frustration.

...But to see the tears on their faces also fills me with glee right now.

oh I know. there was just something that bothered me. I guess it's just that a few of them seemed... I don't know, over the top upset in a way that just struck me as more a temper tantrum than being heartbroken. it's possible that I'm letting my general bad mood today spill over into my olympics. heh.
