seriously that episode was fucking creepy (and of course it was that woman who was the mother of Dennis the ghost! THEY NEEDED CORDELIA TO DEFEAT HER!) and then all the emotion in this was just. please see my continued sobbing.

everyone was amazing. EVERYONE. GAH.

and the framing shot of JJ, Emily and Garcia in the briefing room? THAT. THAT IS EVERYTHING I LOVE ABOUT MY SHOW.

there was just so much in that episode that was amazing. I'm going to have to watch it again. but I was already crying and then Reid had that line about being a doctor and putting his faith in facts and that this was 'as close to a miracle' as he would see and I just LOST IT.

and oh how I loved at the beginning how Morgan questioned JJ on why she suddenly believed that woman, if she was being swayed by her own motherhood. other shows would have made that moment a big plot point and make it drive a wedge between them but not our show. our show had Derek ask the question because it needs to be asked, and then had JJ give the reasons why and then Emily stepping in and being AWESOME. and oh. Garcia with Amy's mom was so beautiful.

I actually said out loud, "Damn it, woman, marry me!" when Garcia took Amy's mom's hand. I love her insane amounts. INSANE. And Emily is awesome every time. The team is so real and fucked up and brilliant and awesome.

I'm really surprised to read this, I thought it was awful. XD I was considering writing up a post about all the reasons why I thought so, but ultimately I love MGG too much to talk smack about his dubious directorial debut.

awwww. I really enjoyed it. but then I think we have very different approaches to how we view movies and television. and you know to each her own. and Hotch is pretty. :D
