why is it only Tuesday?
Mar. 23rd, 2010 09:48 pmHot 100? NICE VAGUE THEME.
FUCKING MILEY CYRUS IS THE MENTOR?! WHAT THE FUCKING HELL. My hatred of that "Party in the USA" song is overwhelming. oh! but random tidbit on Miley... she's dating her co-star in her new movie. and from certain angles I've thought that he looked a little bit like Chris Pine. turns out he's the younger brother of Chris Hemsworth. INTERESTING! (to me.)
Lee - "The Letter" - I have a love/hate thing with this song. but I think that Lee can probably make it awesome. I'm sure they'll complain about stage presence, but just his voice? good times. oh yeah they're giving him good comments. except of course Simon. I like how Simon doesn't even pretend anymore. 'PICK A SONG THAT WILL MAKE ME MONEY.'
Paige - "Against All Odds" - when I first heard Phil Collins my reaction was "noooooooooooooooooo" but I really like this song. it's one of those songs from when I was in junior high that summed up all my pre-teen angst. oh wow this is not good. her lower range is way too shaky.
Tim - "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" - let's see how he destroys Queen this week after the massacre of the Rolling Stones last week. well it doesn't make me want to vomit. also, I think this song is very forgiving to people who maybe don't have the greatest voices. that was super cheesy. whatever I am so over him. I still think he's a serial killer in the making. ELLEN DO NOT POINT OUT THE FANS, THEY WILL VOTE A BAJILLION TIMES. oh dear god does he have a single tear falling down his face? fuck he's totally going to make it through to next week.
Aaron - "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" - aaaaand let the comparisons to DFC start... NOW. although his crush on Miley is ADORABLE. and age appropriate! shaky vocals, but understandable given the voice problems. HAHAHAHAHA RYAN ILU.
Crystal - "Me and Bobby McGee" - good lord I have such a crush on her! I love her. the end. okay not the end. I love that song. I love how she sang it. I love the way her hair is piled up. god she's beautiful and her voice is amazing and just UGH. ♥_♥ omg she's sitting on the rug with Ryan. SO MUCH LOVE.
Michael - "When a Man Loves a Woman" - he's such a cheese ball. I do really like his voice though. I'm totally agreeing with Kara. it was technically very good but too loungey.
Andrew - "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" - *crosses fingers* *sigh* I think he'll make it through this week but his days are totally numbered. also I can't tell if he's just trying to stay positive or if he's kind of arrogant. meh.
Katie - "Big Girls Don't Cry" - I still hate her lower range. in fact there isn't a whole lot about her that I like. meh.
Casey - "The Power of Love" - okay ahahahhaha he's a big fan of her dad. this is sounding a lot like Huey Lewis. um. I'm really not sure if that's good or bad. that song sucks so. I agree with Simon.
Didi - "You're No Good" - I like her voice a lot. yeah I think this is really good. give this girl a record deal. were the judges listening to a completely different song? I just. I liked it.
Siobhan - "Superstition" - ahahhahah wicked cool! so CUTE! and there's the scream. the ending fell apart but dude. she's adorablecakes. she's made out of rainbows and cupcakes.
who should and will go home: Paige (although if I could send Tim home just because that would be awesome)
- work stuff continues to be crazy. to just give you a little idea... we've all been meeting with a lawyer who is collecting all of our stories about the supervisors and will then go back to our corporate compliance officers. what happens then I have no idea. but it's just all CRAZYCAKES.
- two days in a row of going walking after work. and I've been working on eating better. baby steps. I don't want/need to be skinny. I just want to be healthy.
- and now Criminal Minds reruns because that's what I do. ("North Mammon" JJ is AWESOME.)

on 2010-03-26 07:00 pm (UTC)fuck he's totally going to make it through to next week. He's going to be here for FAR too long unless we can find a way to have all teenage girls grounded from their cell phones for just one week.

on 2010-03-26 07:30 pm (UTC)ahahahaha YES! also can you imagine if she had been a mentor in season 7?! I would pay GOOD MONEY to see Miley try to tell Michael Johns how to perform onstage.
AND UGH TIM. yeah. he's going to keep landing in the bottom 3 (BECAUSE HE SUCKS) but the damn teen girl vote will save him every time. LAME.
