loveflyfree- caught up on The Vampire Diaries. LOVE THIS SHOW.
- went down to Scottsdale today. I love/hate that town. like it's pretty and has lots of stores that I like but it's also full of pretentious douchenozzles. *sigh*
- BUT it means that I went to Sephora and spent too much money which I had actually budgeted for so \o/. new nail polish and eye shadow and foundation and yay pretty things.
- grabbed lunch and some groceries at Whole Foods and that reminds me spiced honey gelato is my new favorite thing. DELICIOUS.
- so season 9 of American Idol has been disappointing to say the least. of the the three women left two are awesome and the other one is Katie Stevens! the men have maybe two viable contenders and then a bunch of middle pack-ers who will eventually get weeded out. and then of course there's Tim Urban. I think I've already expressed my disgust that he's still in the competition. I sort of wish the tweens would shift their love to Aaron Kelly. at least he can sing without me wanting to stab things. so yeah. this season? not the best.
however, that does not mean that I will ever do the whole votefortheworst thing. listen, everyone is entitled to do whatever but don't you think maybe that site is part of the problem? between the crazy tweens and the people following that site we end up with people like Tim. like Sanjaya. and while it's an annoyance to people at home, I can't help but feeling that it's a careless way to treat people's lives. ugh I know I'm getting stupidly SRS BZNS over Idol, but. I guess if the results ever got to where I didn't enjoy the show (like if Tim outlasts Lee or Crystal or Siobhan) then I'll just stop watching the show. I don't feel the need to ruin it for other people, especially the people on the show. and if you think that these singers have already gotten enough exposure to get their record deal, maybe we should have a little discussion with Matt Giraud from last season.
*sigh* I don't even know. maybe I should just stop poking my head into this fandom and just watch the show.
- TOMORROW 10AM - CLASH OF THE TITANS. I CAN NOT WAIT.
- also I watched the first episode of Spartacus: Blood and Sand. WOW. THAT IS AWFUL. I think it goes without saying that I'll be watching the rest of the episodes soon.
