- I posted last night and it never appeared on my flist. lj what the hell is going on now?
- there are finally other people than just me at work. the co-worker I dislike the most was back today and I have never been so happy to see her! when the phone rang someone who wasn't me answered it! I can't even articulate how amazing that was.
- I just spent the last hour crying happy/sad/happy tears at Glee. god dammit show why can't you do that all the time?!
- I'm thinking of re-watching Angel this summer. it occurs to me that I never actually watched all the seasons all the way through, even though I know what happens. I should get on that.
- I'm feeling weird in my own skin lately. I hate that.
- and in an effort to post more, I meme:

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 4-7 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest (unless it's too troublesome to reach and is really heavy. Then go back to step 1).
6. Tag five people.

My own conclusion -- several of my colleagues laugh at me -- is that the two are connected. That the universe fights to save itself. To save everything the heroes have come.

The hypothesis my staider colleagues prefer is that the arrival of the entity they refer to as the forerunner is in itself, the signal to the universe for the season of marvels to begin. And that the entity's arrival also created the simultaneity.

You said you were not permitted to interfere, yes?

That is correct

But you brought me here, and told me this. You are obviously interfering. Why?

why yes my graphic novels do take up a large part of my desk. :)

and everyone should do this meme because I like seeing what books people have close to them.

WATCH ANGEL DO IT DO IT DO IT! Er, sorry. I just love that show, and it works really well for marathoning purposes.

I've seen all of the the first two seasons... most of the third, bits and pieces of the fourth and then probably the first 2/3 of the fifth. BUT I LOVE IT. I have no good excuse for not having finished.

And the end of S5 is when SHIT STARTS TO GO DOWN. IT IS A MUST WATCH.

I was like that for the longest time with Buffy. I had seen a ton of episodes and knew all the major plot twists, but I hadn't seen most of the seasons all the way through. Finally I told myself, self, this is ridiculous! and watched everything I'd missed. And it was great.

I KNOW. even though I know things that make me so sad. Wesley. :(

oh man. Buffy. I started watching it early in the 2nd season, got all caught up by the end of that year and then watched all the other seasons as they aired. I'm fairly certain that there is something in every single episode that makes me cry. I love that show sfm.

Despite the awful heartbreaking things that happen (WESLEEEEEEY), the Angel series finale is my absolute favorite. It's just so true to the show.

I remember watching some of Buffy S2 with my mom. It was always something that was part of my consciousness but not really anything I paid much attention to, y'know? And then in college I started watching the two-a-day FX reruns and got hooked, but that was right about when it went off the air. I think that's probably why I'm much more attached to Angel, oddly enough, because I watched a lot of Angel while it aired which I never did with Buffy.

I've never actually read the Fantastic Four series, just the first series that introduces the whole world. It's got X-Men, FF, Peter Parker, ummmm others I can't think of right now. it's good times.
