- dear god Paul Wesley you got hotter over the summer. nnnngh. (also I maybe enjoyed the scene where he was threatening John a little too much.)
- I love how there is a noticable difference between Katherine and Elena.
- omg Tyler and Jeremy just do it already so we can all move on.
- HELLO UNCLE MASON. jesus this show and all the eye candy.

Yeeeah, so. It just hit me (because I'm still pretty much in ZOMG mode) that Caroline had Damon's blood in her. Did Katherine know? Was she going for dead!Caroline or vamp!Caroline, because it looks like we're getting the second. Why is this show giving me thinky thoughts? I just wanted Caroline and Matt to be all happy and in love!

It probably makes me a horrible person, but I was kind of glad when Damon wigged out and snapped Jeremy's neck. Not because I don't love Jeremy, but because I like that Damon has this starkly ruthless streak and I was a little worried they were watering him down a bit.

yeah. I mean me initial reaction was all GASP and NOOOOOOO but I agree with you on liking Damon's ruthlessness. (and speaking of ruthless, I REALLY like when Stefan lets his darker side out.)

I do however really like the triangle between Damon/Elena/Stefan. and Damon just destroying it like that, in one moment. I can't wait to see where this season goes.

I'm not completely convinced it's destroyed. Just a little broken, maybe. I'm really looking forward to seeing where it goes, too.
