guys can we talk about the absolute perfection that is Derek Morgan and Penelope Garcia. (why yes I am choosing to ignore her boyfriend right now.)

because look. the new season starts this week and I'm not jazzed about it knowing what's going on with the cast but past episodes are my happy fun place. and Morgan/Garcia are canon as far as I'm concerned. oh maybe not right now in context of the show, but I am convinced that this show ends with them together. and if it ends different from that... well. we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

SO. talk to me about Morgan and Garcia and espcially Morgan/Garcia. give me quotes or pictures or whatever.





they're both crazy hot and one of the things I love most about their relationship is that while most shows would make it clear that there is no way a woman like Garcia could possibly be with someone like Morgan, we don't get that here. instead what we get is that the two of them love each other very much and have admitted that to each other. they respect each other. I believe the reason they are not together is because Morgan is not in the emotional place to give Garcia what she deserves and HE KNOWS THIS. I'm not saying this is all conscious on his part, I think most of it is a totally subconscious decision, but there is a self awareness that both of them share about what goes on between them. which is why I think they will eventually find their way together.

I love them too! So much... I hope that when the show ends (not that I'm hoping it to be anytime in the near future.) they realize that their soft spot to land is right in front of them (and I think they already do) I just love them together. Also, what I love is that one photo of Mr. Moore.... NOW THAT IS MY HAPPY SPOT!!!!

Lol, my sister has shipped them so hard since she started watching Criminal Minds! Personally, I'm torn because I love Garcia's adorable not!Xander boyfriend, but I can go either way... SO LONG AS THEY NEVER LOSE THEIR LOVEABLE SLY BANTER.

ok so i had never watched this show, just had too much tv lined up already, but as i lost shows by attrition there were open spaces, and about two months ago i started watching. and i swear, one of the first things that grabbed me was the banter between these two. it was so gratifyingly unexpected, that a show would create (would ALLOW!) such a connection between characters like these. i'm honestly grateful for it, it's just SO refreshing. naturally the "penelope" episode ripped my heart out and i wanted to eviscerate that guy long and slowly and it was heart-healing to see that morgan wanted to do the same.

now we have not!xander, whom i adore, and that's good, i can live with that, because he's XANDER, i mean not!xander. but it would be stupendous if they could happen in the end.

and agreed. not!xander is great and I adore him. but in the end Derek and Penelope are totally soul mates. <3
