the universe has a sense of humor and my hatred of Apple has resulted in me getting an iPad. AND I LOVE IT. ahahahahahah oh god.
I made out like a bandit scoring some iTunes gift cards, a Keurig coffee-maker, some new coffee mugs, and American Vampire.
and now a few Yuletide recs:
.narnia No Reservations: Narnia - I’m crammed into a burrow so small that my knees are up around my ears and the boom mike keeps slamming into my head, inhaling the potent scent of toffee-apple brandy and trying to drink a talking mouse under the table. - Anthony Bourdain visits Narnia. AMAZING.
.dragonriders of pern The Two Queens - Kylara goes mad after her dragon dies. But that's not the end of her story... - look it's easy to hate Kylara. but I love this story of her finding her way back to herself.
.oglaf Four Seasons - Four seasons in the life of the hot lesbian mercenary. - guys there is Oglaf fanfic! THIS IS LIKE A DOUBLE RAINBOW. this is actually a lot more poignant than I was expecting which just made me love it more.
