saddest story ever: I got all the way to getting my keys into the lock of my front door before remembering that I left my dinner groceries in the refrigerator at work. SO VERY SAD. I considered not eating dinner but ultimately went back for them because I also had the much needed cream for my coffee. (and can we just talk about how much I fucking love my new coffee maker? SO MUCH LOVE. it is this one and yes that is too much money for a coffee maker which is why it was an awesome present.)

also my coconut crusted tilapia was god damn delicious so right decisions were made all around.

FRIENDS. I NEED COMIC BOOK RECS. (Current/past series read: Marvel Civil War, Preacher, Lucifer, The Walking Dead, Fables, Ultimate X-Men, Ultimate Fantastic Four, Umbrella Academy, Y: The Last Man, Transmetropolitan, The Authority, Watchmen, American Vampire, Hellblazer.) *bats eyelashes*

OH OH! Have you read Alan Moore's From Hell?? It's truly one of the best books (and not just comic books) I've ever read.

I'll go with Top Ten (also Alan Moore) and it's prequel.

excellent. I actually have to write this down because I've found that I have become useless unless I have a list. *sigh*

NIGHTWING. Well, the first few graphic novels anyway. HE IS EYE CANDY. Outsiders are pretty swell for a bit as well. And Teen Titans (both the team lead the second time 'round by Dick (with Roy, Donna, Wally and Garth) and then also the team led by Tim). And Teen Titans: Year One. And Young Justice. And Young Avengers. And Runaways, for a bit. I LIKE TEENAGE DRAMALLAMA, WOT. Alla these have graphic novels. :D I also REALLY want to read Blue Beetle, but I haven't yet but I heard it's good so I'mma rec'cing it to you anyway.

I read the Inhumans (http://www.amazon.com/Inhumans-Marvel-Comics-Fantastic-Four/dp/0785107533) graphic novel one day at Cathy's place without knowing much about any of the characters and I LOVED IT SO MUCH OMFG JAE LEE'S ART

Speaking of, if you don't mind Stephen King, then I'd recommend Dark Tower (http://marvel.com/comic_books/series/2488/dark_tower_the_gunslinger_born_2007) as well because again: JAE LEE. HIS ART IS MY GOD.

If you liked the more funny aspect of Preacher and Hellblazer, I'd also rec Hitman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitman_(comics)). Altho the last time I read it was in my teens, so I dunno, my tastes MAY have changed since then. LOL. Still, it's given me some inside jokes w/friends that we still use. :D

HMM I KNOW THERE ARE OTHERS BUT THESE ARE THE ONES I FIRST THINK OF.
