I know more than half my flist has it way worse than I do but this cold is making me so so cranky. actually it's just making me depressed which is manifesting as cranky because I hate everything when it's this cold. the high was like 24* today. it's 12* out right now. wth.
school is going good so far. my bio prof is a little flaky, but he seems ok. terminology is off to a good start. my only other class this semester is Word, which yeah. not too challenging. plus it's self-paced and online. I've finished half the first unit already. if I'm smart (and honestly that is debatable) I will finish this class as quickly as possible. we'll see.
I've mostly been keeping to my budget. this is payday week so I'm down to my last few dollars in my bank account, but on the plus side of things I should finally be getting my tuition reimbursement check from work. there was some ridiculous fuckery going on with payroll forgetting TWICE to give me the money but I got our HR person to get after them. usually she's fairly useless but for once she came through. they're cutting me a special check that will be here Friday. yay for a little extra money!
