Ta-Tynisa: "The Only Girl" Lady you are ruining my favorite song to Mary Sue to (I have a pretty epic Criminal Minds one in my head now.) NOT IMPRESSED.
Naima: "Summertime" I kind of love her. I know they'll complain about this arrangement but I like it.
Kendra: "Impossible" favorite Christina song? quite possibly. she's doing the song justice which is pretty impressive.
Rachel: "Criminal" I dig this arrangement. her voice is too uneven for me though. it's like bits of AWESOME with just 'eh' inbetween.
Karen: "Hero" okay I like her just for singing in Spanish. her voice is really pretty. I want her to make it through.
Lauren T: "Seven Day Fool" god damn the talent is good this year. that was pretty damn fantastic.
Ashthon: "Love All Over Me" I am... unimpressed.
Julie: "Breakaway" HORRIBLE song choice. Dear Every Female Contestant: STOP TRYING TO SING KELLY. it never ends well.
Haley: "Fallin'" okay I want to like her because I think her voice is interesting but there was just something about this performance that bugged.
Thia: "Out Here On My Own" that was absolutely amazing and I just want to go watch Fame now. also I can't believe she's only 15. THAT IS NUTS.
Lauren A: "Turn on the Radio" okay yesterday I complained about Scotty because I don't like country. this is exactly the kind of country that I haaaaate. this pop-crossover shit. I'M SORRY OKAY. (and yes I understand it's a Reba song, so not so pop originally, but as sung here, definitely going for that Carrie vibe.)
Pia: "I'll Stand By You" heh I've gotten so used to listening to the let's face it mediocre Glee version of this song that for a minute I was confused. that was beautiful.

okay Top 5 for me are Naima, Lauren T, Karen, Thia and Pia. and then maybe Haley for wild card. I don't think Rachel is going to make it through which does bum me out a little.
