Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Week. Eh. I don't really love broad themes like this but here we go.
Jacob - "Man in the Mirror" WOW. now I know why I don't usually listen to the tape of rehearsals. if he ends up in the bottom 3 it's because America didn't want to look at itself in the mirror? SHUT THE FUCK UP DUDE. also I legit hate this song no matter who is singing it. MEH. it was sung just fine but seriously dude. don't tell me how to think. I APPARENTLY HAVE FEELINGS AND OPINIONS ABOUT THIS. (and of course the judges love him.) Ryan please don't talk about hip thrusting.

Haley - "Piece of My Heart" I'm always nervous when people sing Janis. what the holy hell is she wearing? whatever I dig her even though I wish she would rein the growl in sometimes. oh I love how she ended it. yay.
Casey - "Have You Even Seen the Rain" hahahha Jimmy Iovine just called will.i.am "Mama" I LOVE THAT SO MUCH. stand up bass YAY! apparently this dude's mom went to high school here and his aunt still lives in the next town over or something. idek. but I fully expect weirdo fanpoodles any day now. I am enjoying this performance very much. also CCR! such happy memory music. thanks Dad!
Lauren - "Natural Woman" *yawn* I love this song but SO OVER DONE. I love her hair and make-up. PRETTY. I have no idea what she's wearing though. did they I could blame Gwen Stefani at the beginning of the show for the styles the girls would be wearing tonight? BECAUSE WTF. okay the song was pretty and she did a good job. but you know. SHE'S NO KELLY. and she ended with her little giggle. this may be the last week I find that charming.
James - "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" is it just me or is the "mood lighting" just outright obscuring his face? is that.. did they do that on purpose? strange. oh jesus he's so going to get compared to Adam with this. it was a good performance but I'm still pretty 'eh' about him.
Scotty - "That's All Right Mama" hahahaha Scotty trying to decipher what will.i.am is saying. excellent. when this whole AI thing is over, this kid has quite the Vegas lounge act lined up. UM. SECURITY! girls rushing the stage is very disturbing and I have a feeling it's all staged but whatever. STUPID FANS WILL THINK THIS IS OK BEHAVIOR.
Pia - "River Deep Mountain High" I like how she's all 'America will be so surprised' except YOU TOLD US LAST WEEK YOU WERE GOING TO SING THIS. that was really good. there were a couple of times where I was all *yawn* but the last half of the song was AWESOME. (although I still love the Glee version with Mercedes and Santana more.)
Stefano - "When a Man Loves a Woman" okay I kind of love will.i.am. hi ryan tedder. you're still very cute. that was an unfortunate camera angle. he looked like a frog! he sounds good. oh look his eyes are closed again. hahaha. LOLZ J.Lo telling Randy he is a crazy person and shushing him. wow I just really liked her.
Paul - "Folsom Prison Blues" RIGHT ON. Ilovehimsomuch. no really I am adoring this. which I'm sure means he'll get voted off. heeeee J.Lo clapiping along. so cute. FUCK YES. GIANT HEART SHAPED PUPILS RIGHT NOW.
Ryan you are horrifying. everyone was pretty good tonight. I think James might have been the weakest one but we'll see. or because America is cruel maybe Stefano since he finally had a legit GOOD performance. hahahah they've all gone crazy dancing. sleep deprivation at it's finest.
